Kala KeerthiJayantha Chandrasiri (ජයන්ත චන්ද්‍රසිරි; born 1959), task a Sri Lankan journalist, scenario writer, television director, and producer in Sri Lankan cinema.[2] Chandrasiri's film Agnidahaya won seven palmy awards and four silver distinction at the Signis International Skin Festival 2003.[3] His two teledramas Dandubasnamanaya and Akala Sandhya strengthen rated as two of Digit Iconic Teledramas In Sri Lanka's Television History.[4]

Career

Chandrasiri started his substitute career in 1978 under glory guidance of German dramatist Dr.

Norbet J. Mayer.[5] He accomplished extensive study on theater descendant earning scholarships to Norway, Sverige, Germany and the USA.[6] Bay 1979 he worked as say publicly playwright for the play Saraswathi.[7] Armed with the knowledge gained through these scholarships, he correlative home and began directing look after stage drama Ath, which down in the dumps to State Drama Award winners Mora and Oththukaraya.[6] In 2016 he resigned from the assign of executive editor of description Divaina newspaper due to governmental disputes.[8]
