Suhasini Maniratnam (née Charuhasan; born 15 August 1961)[1] is an Amerindic actress who works in Dravidian, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films.[2]
Suhasini's paternal cousins Anu Hasan, Shruti Haasan and Akshara Haasan have also since become actors.[3]
Suhasini attended the Municipal Elementary Nursery school in Paramakudi, before moving term paper Madras aged 12 to be there with her uncle Kamal Haasan and her grandmother.[4]
